Ardbert is badass. Best boy is still Haurchefant though.

Haurche and Aymeric are my brothers, Edmont is my father, and Estinien is my grunge cousin who doesn't like to come to family reunions. (HW had such good characters.)

I only go to the Gold Saucer to trade in Triple Triad cards for points lol. I spent like a week there to get the Noctis car and dipped.

On that topic, though, some achievements require beating up to I think 90 different Triad players, but I've been to every area I believe, and I'm missing like at least 20 players. No clue where they are.

Both the Emet-Selch fights and Elidibus fights were the coolest things ever. When the ShB theme kicks in... gahh.

Exarch is fun, and it was obvious who he was, even though it didn't really feel like it made sense that's who he was, personality-wise -- I know it had been like a 100 years, but he felt like a different character. And that's not how I imagined his voice to sound.

Yes, and no. Yda does get points, though, for being voiced by Rin Tohsaka, before everyone got recast.

But she's basically the same character, down to her ramblings and over excitedness, but now she actually a real job to do, so she's more responsible. Best girl either way.

I started it, then forgot about it abruptly lol
It's still lv1 or whatever

I've only truly played as Dragoon (lv80), Bard (lv61), Carpenter (lv80), Botanist (lv70?), and Miner (lv80).

I started some other stuff like Conjurer and Machinist, but they never stuck. I'll probably go back and play around with them more now that I don't have a MSQ to go through.

Emet-Selch is top 10 for sure, though. Def the best villain -- though he doesn't really have much competition in that field.

Fordola was a pretty good character in the Stormblood expansion, in so far as anyone in Ala Mhigo was.

Much better than Zenos and Yotsuyu at least.

Yeah, she's not bad.

Just kinda boring, same as pretty much everyone introduced in Stormblood. No one's as fleshed out as the characters from HW, or as dynamic as the ones from ShB.

Hien's cool, though.

Yotsuyu is a great and tragic character. I really liked her relationship with Gosetsu. The part of her trial where everyone important in her life is beating on her except Gosetsu who protects her and tells her not to give in was beautiful

LMAO. I think the couple are in their 30s but that's not an entirely inaccurate description of them. He has a 4th friend, that one blonde guy with the echo.

There was dialog with Alisae that she explains he was pretty popular with girls but not guys. Mostly because of his controlling attitude I think and talking down to his colleagues. This was obviously pre 1.0 when they were still students in Sharlayan.

I only like PotD solo. Someday I'mma get the Necromancer title. I always end up dying on floors 191-200 tho .

Don't do it solo unless you want the achievement for it. The experience comes from completing a run of ten floors. The enemies don't give the experience. Runs go much faster when you have 4

Most people just do floors 51-60 over and over and over. The floors past 50 let you do runs with a level 60 character of whatever job you enter with. The lower floors make you unlock abilities mid run

it caps you at lv60 and you can't do any Market Board stuff, which means you can't buy or sell items to other players. this doesn't matter if you aren't trying to raise money or speed through non-combat classes.

otherwise, the entire base game and the first expansion, along with everything that comes with it, are all free. i was on the free trial for a solid year before I finished the first expansion and had to switch over to the paid stuff for the rest of the story. there's easily hundreds of hours worth of content.
