So many references, music just screams star wars, being able to customize my God damn lightsaber! The writing(thus far) has been great, the appearances of Obi-Wan and Saw got me feeling Nostalgic. Debra Wilson is a surprisingly good actor too, I didn't expect her to be that good in a serious role. She's already funny as hell(which I know from Mad TV). Cal's VA is quite good, and his journey is fantastic so far.

The combat is far and away some of the most fun I've had with Star Wars. Well, late game when you start unlocking the lightsaber throw and the like.

My main complaints are mostly just the odd design decisions and the rare glitches. Why do I need to press L2 to hold on, exactly?

My one complaint is that the fun feeling of exploration often ends up in disappointment because you just get some weird ass poncho color or ship decor. Other than that, fantastic game.

I think a sorta gear system could have benefit the game a lot. Allowed you to customize Cal in ways. Nothing too incredibly indepth, but still some reasons to explore that much. Mix in the ponchos and other customizations too. And maybe a place to shop for gear.

Those would all be nice in a sequel.

I tried it on gamepass a while ago but found it way too buggy. The loading times were pretty unbearable as well (considering how often you die).

Surprised I hadnt heard about this before, because Im familiar with other lesser moments in the game.

Yeah I love Debra and Cameron, I hope the fact that the characters look exactly like them means we might see them in live-action someday.

Saw shows up on Kashyyyk(played by mothafuckin Forrest Whittaker again!) and they have a holocron with Obi-Wan from the Star Wars Rebels series...so not Ewan, but I think Clone Wars Obi-Wan is pretty good too.

Really? I honestly didn't even check. But I will now!

Also I'm at the part where you defeat the old man who takes his shirt off. When I got my crystal and the new move, holy shit they just let you go ham with the saber. The lightsaber throw after that becomes incredibly broken since you can keep attacking with the other blade.

Cal feels like an absolute joy to play once you get to that point.

Are you kidding? The attacks cover so much ground and they're so fast that stormtroopers usually get stunlocked by it.

The only real downside is that it's dash strike isn't as strong so it doesn't instakill smaller enemies like the spiders.

Just finished the game, and holy shit. Vader is a fucking force of nature. His mere presence was causing absolute mayhem and destruction. That was an absolutely incredible moment. Vader makes every appearance incredible in any game or movie, I fucking swear.

Also what was with Cal saying the force will help the kids? Who's to say the force didn't dictate that Cal should teach them?

I really liked that and the order 66 scene, there was so much emotion around both scenes. The part where Vader walks up behind Trilla was so epic. There were so many emotions that you could see her go through in that moment.

It's a pretty good game and from a writing angle, it's more authentically Star Wars than literally anything from this Disney era of films.

Only major problems are that even on the hardest difficulty, it's still not that challenging and there's a huge lack of replayability because it's first and foremost a story adventure game. When I platinum'd the whole thing, I was definitely done and had no trouble uninstalling after that. I don't see that as a good thing imo

Game was ok, but had a lot of problems. The exploration becomes repetitive after awhile, especially without any kind of fast travel. The extras you unlock are not that great. Most of the ponchos are very ugly. The combat is also a little off sometimes due to the camera angles. Some of the bosses were also extremely difficult and not that fun. It was definitely one of the better SW games I have played in a while despite these issues.

Pay attention to the planet Ilum when youre landing there.

When you hear Trilla realize he's approaching, there is nothing but fear in her breathing. She instantly knew that at that particular moment, she was absolutely screwed. So God damn intense.

Not every game can have infinite replay ability, though. I do this with games all the time. I'll beat all the story-content, then uninstall and reinstall when the urge to play it comes in. But different strokes, I suppose.

I had a ton of camera issues, that's true. Mostly when I'm locked in a corner or something by two enemies

And I don't understand why there is no fast travel. Would make things much easier, like getting to that tree in Kashyyyk.

The bosses...yeah, some were not fun. Mostly, for me anyway, Trilla and 9th Sister.
