And yes it was a legit tattoo parlor. They guy i wanted did amazing work but he was currently not taking customers cause him and his gf just got into it and he wasnt in the mood Then I did one myself on my leg but fortunately it wasn't meant to look good. I got the :p emoticon on my leg done by my friend (not a tattoo artist but he was wanting to be at the time) real small and was hard to fuck up Oddly my least favorite tattoo is the best one quality wise.
