Basically the other Bond movies are off to the side.

Craig's "Bond" is just starting everything over.

Also Blofeld only was absent because of some legal shit in the other movies.

Depending on what happens to Blofeld in the new movie we might get repeats of older plots.

A lot of older sequels didn't really care about continuity too much. Especially if the main character was recast.

Is Val Kilmer Batman the same as Keaton who was the same as Clooney? Kinda? A lot of movies were like that. You're not really supposed to think about it. It's just a new adventure with the character. Trying to work out a timeline is like trying to work out a timeline for The Simpsons.

From Casino Royale onwards they thought about these movies as being more consistent.
