I thought TC was merely having a butthurt episode after a bad night at Taco Bell but then I recalled that they removed the apple empanadas from their menu after I had exactly one opportunity to order them.

The most confusing thing they pulled was the double decker taco. Most of the other items they've cancelled used a unique ingredient like the pizza shells or whatever, but DD tacos are literally a soft taco shell around a hard taco with beans in-between. They have literally all of the ingredients for it, it was insanely popular, but they pulled it from the menu because reasons.

I used to work at Taco Bell in the late 90s, and the best thing they had was the Baja gordita. I don't even recognize half of the menu anymore.
