For those who never dry brined, try it. Just use kosher or sea salt and let it sit for a couple hours.



It doesn't really lose any juice after the brine. Weird

The photo quality might be hurting the rice. it looks like it'd be tasty, but upon further inspection that is not corn.

potatoes is 0/10. the little gravy pond is a hard no. and liquified mashed potatoes are lousy.

Yeah started with jasmine rice that was cooked yesterday. If rice isn't a day old fried rice comes out mushy. I wish I added more onions...only had half of one.

I love these plates because they have that lip around the edge and they're big. The colors are kind of meh though.
