I used to not care if I worked on my birthday and now I get paid either way if I come to work or not. So I try to take a week off on around my birthday.

Generally my work doesn't schedule a person on their birthday. I don't typically request it off and end up with it off.

I refuse to work on my birthday. I schedule it off months in advance and if I get scheduled, I will call out. Speaking of which, my birthday is this coming Monday.
