I've only seen a few eps of Penny Dreadful and I wasn't feeling it but Peaky Blinders is phenomenal.

Only saw Penny, but it was quite enjoyable overall. Was kinda bummed it got cancelled (ended?) after only a couple seasons. Should check out that spinoff and see if that was good (even though it was also cancelled, lmao).

They're not even the same genre... But I'd recommend Peaky Blinders in general. It was great.

Penny Dreadful is an amazing show but its abrupt cancellation results in a really awful finale. So everything up to the last episode rules.

I couldn't really get into Peaky Blinders, but I think I'd still recommend it over Penny Dreadful. That finale did it no favors. They cut like three seasons' worth of plot into four episodes.

Funnily enough, they do share an actress. Helen McCrory is in both.

I liked both.
Penny Dreadful is good. Sadly, it got cancelled. It deserved better. It had some great performances, and the stories were fun.

Peaky Blinders is better though. Cillian Murphy is awesome, and Tom Hardy is perfect in his role. It's a good show set in an interesting period.

Although if I have to see these guys one more time walking in slowmo while this stupid rock n roll song is playing, I'm gonna punch someone.
