The game creates a virtual reality based on your own fantasies and stimulates the pleasure center of your brain so you're near permanently in an euphoric state as all your fantasies are fulfillled and it is barely distinguishable from real life... at least while you're playing it. People who start the game struggle to stop playing it and withdrawal symptons once returning to reality are immeasurably severe. Starving to death while playing the game is common, suicide, insanity, mood swings, violence, crime after doctors/carers/parents take the game away from addicts is common. It turns people into drooling zombies who can't do anything but keep playing the game 24/7 and need someone on the outside to keep them alive. The unparralled delusional states of hysteric bliss is causing hundreds of millions of people all over the world to die or go insane or ruin their lives in the biggest addiction epidemic in human history that is only growing each passing hour. Several countries and provinces have tried to ban the game and make similar technology illegal but it's too late. You can't make it not exist after it has already spread all over the world and even more dangerous less effective bootlegs are being reverse engineered the world over every day. The success of the E.B.T.L has made your daughter a billionaire and while she has distanced herself from you due to her new isolated lifestyle living with her supermodel wife in her Maldives mansion to get away from the public disdain and detractors who despise her, she has just causally sent one of her goons to give you 14 million dollars. Since you are a parent and all, you raised her. She's also at every turn advised you to never play E.B.T.L. She's fully aware of how addictive and dangerous it is.
