Because there has to be some kind of screw loose in there for them to not understand how it works, and thats what I feel sympathy towards.

But its also hard to feel bad because of how much information is out there that they choose not to listen to.

I feel sympathy for those that are vacxers but are hesitant to take this unsafe vaccine. Even people that have had CoVid and therefore have natural antibodies against it now are still treated like crap if they don't get the vaccine.

Whatever the case, let the odds be forever in their favor. I don't wish death upon anyone. Years from now this will be nothing but a bad memory but you can bet a lot of these guys will still be around in perfect health, somehow. That's just how life works.

None. They're the reason we're still in this. All the people suffering mentally because we've had to be in isolation for so long? The fault of anti-vaxxers(And let's be real, 99% of them are also anti mask).

They boast about FREEDOM while acting irresponsible. Why should I care if they face concequences for that?

If they can't take the vaccine for a legitimate reason, of course (but in 95%+ of cases I don't think these people would qualify as "anti-vaxxers")

For active anti-vaxxers, it's also their freedom to not take the vaccine. such as it is my freedom to have no sympathy for them

I do in a broad sense. They have clearly been fooled by others or suffer from various malfunctioning thought processes. I figure most have just been propagandized by those they trust giving false witness. That is something can happen to nearly all of us in just the right scenarios.

In short, I have sympathy for those buying the BS to some degree but only scorn to the sellers of it -- The the two faced leaders, the snake oil salesmen, and opportunists.

My father died from COVID on Christmas day. I am not sure I will ever forgive those who hoodwinked millions for profits and power in exchange for the lives of people like Dad.

Yes, they're still deserving of sympathy. My great uncle (grandmother's brother) has covid and he's been in the hospital for about 6 weeks. The doctor said his liver and lungs are basically mush now. The only thing keeping him alive is the ventilator.

All of my extended family that were hesitant to get the vaccine are all getting it, now that they see what Covid is doing to him.

They're the reason the pandemic has been prolonged in the US and are now the reason mask mandates are coming back.

If they get covid-19 and end up with permanent bodily damage or death, oh well. If anything that increases the chances of herd immunity so I wouldn't even say it's a bad thing anymore.

And in doing so selfishly create valuable resources shortages and put individuals who cannot be vaccinated at risk.

Sure.

Not all of them are alike. Some are mentally challenged who rely on others to help them decide. Some are mentally challenged with no help at all. Some are mentally challenged who have been hurt by liars and now they're rooted in place with fear and indecision.

However, I do have a hard time sympathizing with anyone who gleefully rejects it for stupid selfish reasons. Like if someone says, "I'm young and healthy so I don't give AF" then they get sick. A small nasty part of myself enjoys that a bit even though I'm generally a pretty forgiving and understanding guy.

Its not just covid, its any disease these people risk spreading out of willful ignorance.

That being said, if they get sick or die, I won't feel particularly upset about it.
