From September 2020 to Feb 2021 I played a bunch. Got all the main story content completed.

Came back on for 14 free days as I am considered a lapsed account and ohhhh boy, having to relearn everything after 6 months makes me feel like an idiot.

Level 80 Monk and I have an 80 Dark Knight as well.

I did. I got a little bit into the post ARR/pre HW patches before my two weeks ended. I resubbed a few days ago.

I've been playing as a Paladin. It's my third time through the MSQ and the first two times I didn't pay attention to the story so I am now. I'm loving it.

I want to but square enix customer support is terrible. My account I havent touched since before HW is locked for some reason. I've been trying to recover and its been 12 days with essentially zero assistance from their CS

I did create a new character, but didn't so anything yet. Is it 14 days of playtime, or 14 days of calendar time? Meaning, if I don't don't log in again for the next 14 days, is my free time gone?
