Well, some of their mobile games are fine. Dragalia and FEH are notable examples. But yeah, stuff like Masters, Go, the Mario mobile games...super predatory in terms of monetization.

I think Unite is also gonna be mobile? And that one is just plain shitty with it.

Nintendo definitely became more corporate-minded once Iwata left us.

Iwata was an actual gamer and game designer. The guy before him and the guys who followed him were/are all-business.

The mobile gaming market is a mess anyway. I do expect better of Nintendo, but I don't blame them for not taking it artistically seriously.

I wish I you could just buy gacha games for like $50 and turn off the gacha. I wouldve bought Fire Emblem. But then I missed my free orbs one day and realized I'll never have enough and I could miss them again.
