Not trying to defend dude here but is it true AC isnt that common in the UK? If true do they put the candy bars in the refrigerator section or leave them on shelves like American stores. I've gotten a few melted candy bars as a kid cause the store in question didnt have AC.

im sure theres a mix of both. there would be a large stock somewhere on the shelves (dunno about a/c), and there would be refrigerated display shelves near the front of the store with cold drinks and chocolate etc. TC went to the middle of the store, got a non-cooled kit kat, and stuffed it in his pocket to melt it further

I mean I find it plausible he got it already like that. But that's more a case of a shitty store. My grandmother had a freezer full of candy bars for awhile cause the store she worked at didnt have AC and they decided to give her all the candy bars cause they where melting causing customers to not want to buy them.i was a happy kid for awhile.

This probably wasnt a a big issue for the UK if the AC thing is true. But tempatures have been rising lately.
