Luffy wins due to plot

I doubt it. Luffy/Zoro/Sanji might have a chance against Pitou if they have precognition but the King is way too fast for them.

Youpi is also going to be a big problem. You have to understand the only reason the Hunters did as well as they did in the invasion was with a lot of planning, preparation, weird nen abilities like Knuckles bankruptcy, and the unexpected part of Meruem caring about Komugi when she got hurt by Zenos dragon dive which also led to splitting the king from the guards.

Straw Hats as much as I love them dont really roll like that lol theyre going to come busting through the front door.

Theres no way for them to win. Like a royal guard is certainly possible, but theres nothing they could do to actually defeat the king.

I don't think so, but it depends on how the power systems interact. Does haki work? Can Zoro cut Meruem? How much of a beating can Luffy take?

CE is really overrating the royal guards' power levels with each of these topics that pop up.

Pre-timeskip would probably have trouble, but I don't see post-timeskip One Piece characters having much trouble. Meruem can certainly out think Luffy, but he really doesn't have anything that'd damage him to any great extent even if you give him his full range of abilities.

the nuke didn't harm Muruem the radiation poisoning is what killed him

but anyways they survive because the hunters were super weak in comparison and they survived

The nuke was powerful enough to break his body apart. His body did come back together however. The physical power did do a number on him though.

If I remember correctly, the nuke nearly destroyed Meruem, and he most likely would have died if Pouf and Youpi didn't come to his rescue and revive him by giving him their energy.
