Zion Williamson is the only player in NBA's history who's name starts with a Z

In an alternative universe my boy Zarmello is doing well but rn in this one the letter Z was unzheardof in this league and im very glad we're seeing more of that letter.

Another fun fact is - The last time a professional athlete in the U.S.'s name started with a Z, it was Zed, Zion's great-granpa cousin, who played professional Hockey.

Right now, in the U.S., there are 9 people who's name starts with a Z, which means 11% of them are NBA caliber players, making Z the safest letter to name your child after.
