I thought that the writing was bad, the story was stupid, and the characters were bland (outside of ~~Higgs~~, who was a cornball). the combat and stealth felt really uninspired, IMO, and detracted my overall enjoyment of the game. like, if trying to traverse the environment was more of a puzzle, rather than taking a short detour if your route wasn't feasible, and there was less of an emphasis on combat, I would have dug that more. instead, there was a bunch of forced difficulty, where you might take a long trip, but then be have to go through a segment of scripted Timefall, and after that, some boss fight. I also wasn't a fan of the combat sections with ~~Cliff~~. Which is partly why all the characters have live action equivalents. But if you like the game, like RE series, you join in on it just being dumb fun instead. Granted, RE never took itself so serious. So, I see you there. Just saying, if you like something and there's a corny part, you just snicker and say "that was dumb". If you don't like it, you latch onto it as a reason the 60 hours built around it all are irrelevant because of 2 seconds of dialogue. I personally like the game, so it's mildly annoying after it was funny the first couple times people made fun of it. I respect opinions like @g0ldie tho, since you can tell he actually gave it the effort before deciding the reasons he didn't like it. Anyway, main point is...get new jokes.
