Like audio commentary, concept art and storyboards, old trailers and commercials, behind the scenes footage, etc.

Now, shows just get dumped on Netflix and are done with >_> Do movie blurays today even pack all that extra content anymore or nah?

I never used to watch that stuff anyway. Youtube, podcasts and Reddit are full of that sort of stuff for free.

This is an actual worry for me. None of the streaming services seem to care about special features beyond trailers and maybe bloopers, and even the rare physical releases like Daredevil season 1 and 2 are equally barebones. You're more likely to find that stuff on the studio's youtube page than in a streaming service.

Movies that start out in theaters seem to still get the regular treatment on blu-ray, but how much longer is physical media going to get that attention to detail?

If nothing else there should be a Limited Run for movies and tv shows.

Depends on studio and film distributor.

Shout/Scream Factory and Arrow Video typically throw in the best and most relevant special features to fit inside a bluray disc.
A decade ago I remember taking like 2 or 3 days to finish watching all the documentaries for just a single LOTR movie (the hardcover version). Good times.

Those days are gone now :(
