Transformation into kid Buu?

There was like a good minute or so where Buu was totally helpless.

Goku thought hed need a good minute or so to power up enough to take out Kid Buu when fighting on Kaioshins planet. And Kid Buu was weaker than the various forms he was going through when changing into Kid Buu. They thought they were still outmatched, and without completely vaporizing Buu, its a futile effort.

Not to mention that they had no idea what was about to happen. They were confused when was changing into all sorts of forms.

Because thats not how they do things. Super even poked at this trope itself with 17 shooting Ribrianne mid-transformation and everybody shits on him lmao

He took the shot because she was wide open aka what any smart person would do and Goku and everybody bare like Wtf dude, you dont just attack somebody in the middle of a transformation!

Yeah the series got dumber in some ways. They had no issue ganging up on Vegeta, but then they had to be honorable warriors instead of being smart after?

Goku is the guy who gave Frieza energy and Cell a sensu bean. The good guys can be very dumb and impractical.

They had rationale for doing those things even if stupid. Like Goku explicitly says why he's going to stand there and let Frieza power up. The senzu bean was given to cell because Goku already knew Gohan had achieved SSJ2.

The Buu fight was a little different though. They didn't have a reason to keep Buu alive after they freed the people he absorbed.

Its usually just the Saiyans who have that mentality. And since nobody else tends to be on their level, their allies are forced to just go along with it, since their actions would be mostly irrelevant.

Kaioshin gets super concerned when Goku/Vegeta/Gohan use roshambo to determine who fights inside Babidis ship, and the elder Kaioshin loses his shit when he sees Goku & Vegeta doing it to see who fights Kid Buu. Trunks also wanted everyone to help Vegeta vs 18, and Vegeta wouldnt have any of it (17 being there helped to prevent them as well).
