I was just watching a video where mr. Beast ate a pizza that had 1 oz of edible gold. It honestly looked like i coulda downed half that pizza by myself, id be eating half an oz of gold though...how does that work man? I assume its real gold or else they could not charge 70k for the pizza but seriously what the eff is edible gold even?

The difference between the two is based mostly on if you're a little bitch who can't eat this 24 carat.

It's not that it's not good for you, it's more like it's not bad. Gold is harmless to ingest in small quantities, but it is still stupid.

Keep in mind there's more than one kind of iron. One your body can digest, the other does fuck all for you in comparison. Heme and non heme iron.

I am pretty sure eating an oz of edible iron is not a good idea. Just googled it, recommended dose of iron is 45mg a day...there is 1000mg in 1 gram and 28 grams in 1 oz...

What is considered a small dose of gold though. The pizza he ate had 1 whole oz of 24k gold...i have eaten a whole pizza myself, if someone ate that entire pizza or even half of it they would have 14 grams of 24k gold inside of them. That does not sound like a very good idea to me...if iron levels need to be only 45mg i imagine gold has to be somewhere around there too. So gold sprinkles make sense but not 1 whole ozof gold.

Ya it cost $70,000...had like 4 cheeses flown in that day from different countries and thin slices of expensive beef on top of it with an oz sheet of gold. It looked absolutely delicious. I wish i could eat something like that.

There are people in this world siphoning shit for gold.

At one point in China noodle pot shops were boiling sewage for oil. Believe me, someone is going through sewage for metals if we're shitting it away on food.

I also dont understand why they add gold to food or any other crazy expensive random ingredient. If I had to bet either that tastes like crap or equally as good as anything you can buy elsewhere, it is just chefs tricking rich people to waste money on dumb stuff.
