Current Events > HR to me today about the fact I've taken 3 weeks paid sick leave since last year

We can talk about a repayment if it was HR: No that was fine but going forward this needs to be reinforced as we cannot guarantee that you will be paid in the future Principal: actually I have decided that should he require to be out due to sick leave he will still be paid HR: uh... I thought the purpose of this meeting was to explain there isn't an official sick leave policy? Principal: yes but we will still be paying him for sick leave HR: I'm sure there are reasons but we don't do this for any staff, it's always on a case by case basis Principal: I understand but consider the fact all the computers actually work even when he's not in as opposed to how it was without him. Like I had to sit down with a bunch of key people in the school in the first week and go through literally a step by step process to show just how simple certain things were. He literally said the school would pay for it if I was unable to afford it (it was like a 300). Everyone loved him and when he left when I was in fourth grade a lot if us kids were sad. Supposively he got sick and couldn't talk his last week and some of my friends said it's just cause he was a coward and didnt want to say anything. Don't know if that was true or not but they were obviously upset about it. Must be how the kids feel about you. Well the last guy none of the girls would go near him alone, they always had to be in groups because he'd stare and make them really uncomfortable. One of the teachers who has a kid at the school threatened to sue the school unless they made it so she could put requests in on behalf of her daughter (normally kids/parents are kept 100% separate) But yeah the kids would miss me. I'd miss them more.
