I think I may have this condition. I do think it's caused by stress.

Obstructive sleep apnea is because of a thick neck causing obstruction when you breathe and sleep at night.

It is not caused by stress. One of the main risk factors is obesity.

Would recommend seeing a pulmonologist for a sleep study.

I did, or at least I think I did according to what my gf told me of how I slept. But after I lost weight all of those symptoms were gone.

Yes for the past few years my sleep apnea was so bad that I could not stay awake if I were passive. I HAD to be doing something or else I would doze off. It was literally the most stressful time of my life and I wouldnt wish that on anyone. I use a cpap machine at night now.
