Why do people like Summer, or call this time of the year, "good weather"?

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but God I find Summer to be the worst season of the year. It's fucking hot andor humid. This time of the year (at least where I live), it's dreadful weather. Have to pump the AC on blast to sleep and even then I'm tossing and turning all night. On humid days I get hives from the heat making more uncomfortable.

To those who love this weather, please educate this heathen sweat mother of mercy....why?

/rant. Just spent a day with my gf hiking for the anniversary (something she wanted, promised I'd go). Needed somewhere to rant about this dreadful day. Hiking is fine, the heat though, I just cant.

Totally agree. Fall is the best IMO. Not too hot, not too cold, crisp air, love it.

Whenever I see a weather report saying its going to be a 'beautiful day' when it's +30C, i want to barf.

Summer is incredible here in the Pacific Northwest. You're typically looking at mid 70s during the warm months with maybe a few hotter days on rare occasion. Plus the sun doesn't fully set until around 10 PM.

I hated summer until I moved up here

I have mixed feelings. It is a lot easier to do stuff with my friends in the summer. I am super social this time of year.

However, the heat gets to me, but better than January and February (I'm in Minnesota). Also, I don't like it light out until 9:30, but once again better than getting dark at 4:30. Also, it screws up my running because I have to go first thing in the morning before coffee, which sucks.

You can probably guess that I prefer the in between seasons of fall and spring.

It has the best vibe out of every season. Its sunnier so it feels more upbeat or uplifting or something. Plus it brings up nostalgic feelings of summer vacation and having the freedom to do whatever you want. And going to the beach or water parks or barbecues is always a good time
