like, the Solid & Big Boss storylines are pretty much done, but someone could come in and breathe new life into the series by either focusing on Raiden or am entirely new character

It's just too much a Kojima thing. You could try to replicate the tone or dialog, but it'd always feel off most likely. Even if Kojima was back at the helm, I wouldn't want any more Metal Gear.

Hideo Kojima was really willing to sacrifice profit for product. And he went above above & beyond for his engines.

To an insane degree, man

The only one that rraaaaally ran on consoles was 4. Everything else was too powerful lol ~ You can see some of the stuff they wanted to do with 3 when the cutscenes happen. And he nailed the forest and the intro. Which was the goal.

but yeah, 5 doesnt draw right

2 is very empty AI wise (irony)

1 was you know . It pushed the limits of the hardware, as they all did.

Feel like he'd be a really good fit for the craziness and drama, but wouldn't have all those war details and odd moments of "groundedness". He'd have the solider stripped naked and ass up knocked out, but it wouldn't come right after learning about nuclear MUF.

The Fox engine is really freaking great, and it's sad that it's basically just an engine for soccer games now.
