100% dude same here. If someone wants to talk or hang out we can do it in person. No way in hell am I gonna sit online and converse with someone. Nothing against people that do but I only go online for info and maybe fk around a few forums.

Eventually talking in person will cease to exist people are getting so into this virtual shit. :/

Social media is, at best, an option.
Its there for people that want it or need it but in the big picture it changes nothing, does nothing and if it suddenly disappeared, wouldnt change anything for anyone except for those that have made it something for themselves. For everyone else, its as relevant as a shooting star. It comes, its cool, its gone and nothing changed.
social media hasnt existed up until the last 10-20 years and everyone forgets how we lived without it

I don't really care if adults have no presence online. I've deleted my Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter account years ago. Current job doesn't require me having one and I don't have any friends or family anyway to really care for it to be bothered.

There's no point to social media for me, personally.

Anyone I would want to talk to has my phone number, and I don't think I'd ever be ok meeting someone in real life I've only talked to on the internet.

Facebook is awful and should be destroyed. I used to use it but I stopped a decade ago. I would not use facebook or anything they own.

I have a twitter which I mostly use to follow artists I like and which I rarely post from. I use reddit a lot and I'm on here most days. I have a linkedin because it's obligatory.

I think it's good to stay off of social media if you can, mainly the ones that aren't anonymous.
