You realize shifts come in different sizes right? 8 hour shifts arent the only way to work. Best place I ever worked was 3-12s.

I'd rather do 5 8s then 4 10s myself. 8 hours allows you enough time to do one hobby each day. 10 hours means your whole day is prob work, then you binge on weekends.

How? Im home no later than 430pm. Usually go to the gym and still have a couple thing I do. Plus I have 3 days off lol. With two, youre usually rushing Saturday and prepping Sunday

I see your point and do feel that during the winter a lot since it gets dark so soon. But to help myself during that I think, a huge percent of people spend around an hour each day just commuting. That whole Friday off I have justifies it.

I used to work two 12hr shifts + a 9hr shift each week. Then had three and a half days of ("half" since the last working day was a night shift).
