It paints the beginnings of modern China in a positive light, which is fucked up. I mean, it's partially Japan's fault for how China is now, but fuck China and fuck Hollywood for continually kowtowing to them. We're never going to crush Xi by giving him billions of dollars. Every politician and powerful person can choke on their strong words until they actually do something about China. They're happy with their money.
