I only collect Japanese games and they tend not to be as rare, but that one is pretty rare. You can get like Super Metroid, Mother 2, etc. for $20-40 with a box and instructions (in Japan).

I have a sealed box of Earthbound because I got two of them one for my birthday and one for Christmas.

Nevermind it might be Pirates of Dark Water, seems to be 80. Though on e Bay they selling for like 200, lol. I got it for 60 at a convention

I'm not really sure, but probably some atlus games on the psp or ps2. I have both devil summoner games sealed, and the persona 2 psp limited edition. Had the junpei hat with persona 3 but sold it for $120 years ago, and I see it goes for 400+ now. Also sold all the zero escape watches years ago.

I feel like it's probably Tactics Ogre (PS1). Chrono Trigger (SNES) has a higher price, but I think that's more due to demand than rarity.

Probably the Harvest Moon CIB for the SNES that I have. It's in really rough shape, but it's all there. I mean, I'm missing the little inserts, but the manual, box, and game are all there.

I had all of the GameCube RE collection at one point and sold those for a profit after a few years.

I had vanilla Xenoblade Chronicles but sold it for the 3DS version and now the Switch version exists so the price is nothing. I have stuff like Dokapon Kingdom for Wii which is kind of rare.

Never had like hundreds of dollar rares though.

I would have some rare-ish games if I actually held on to all the games that I owned from the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era. However, I traded a lot of them in, especially a little later on to get the newest 360 games. Being a teen with no job, that was one of the few ways to get more money to buy games, aside from waiting for Christmas/birthdays. The few I actually kept had some sort of nostalgic value to me, or just weren't worth trading in due to low value.

Off the top of my head for Gamecube I had Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Skies of Arcadia Legends, that Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest special edition, and a few others. Nothing super rare but a few things that would probably sell for a decent amount on ebay.

The rarest game I actually kept and have in my possession is probably Twin Snakes (I kept this because I just thought it was a really cool game back then). I still have Melee which I don't think is rare but I hear about it still selling for a decent amount. I also found (and still have) Zone of the Enders 2 and SMT Nocturne for PS2 back when they were somewhat hard to find, but IIRC both of those got reprints/remasters and aren't really valuable/rare anymore.

Also, I still have the special editions of Fatal Frame 1 and 2 for Xbox. I just checked on ebay and they seem to be valuable-ish. So it actually might be one of those rather than Twin Snakes.

Godhand. I think I can sell it for like $180 on ebay. I thought about selling it a couple years ago and it would've netted me half that, which still would've been pretty sweet.

Oh yeah, that thing. I had the full setup like maybe 10 years ago and sold it to a friend who speed runs Pokmon games for I think like $70 at the time. I think it went for more than that, but it was a decent price. I never liked using it. I also had the game boy plug-in that came with Four Swords Adventure and I think he also wanted that so it was like $80 for everything.
