Cause the mods are biased and the lock is a good way to avoid dispute oversight. It allows them to quietly sweep things under the rug while hoping no one notices.
On a practical aside, it helps the mods reduce the queue since her warned suspended topics tend to get heated so by ending them early it helps keep the mass marking down. ... Copied to Clipboard!
