I'm not about using the F word, but that episodes portrayal of bikers is very accurate.

There's a guy down the street with a Harley and he drives by several times a day. But he always hammers on the throttle even though it's a residential street.

I swear the guy tries to be as loud as he possibly can just so that people are forced to pay attention to him.

I cover my ears when they drive by. About 10% of it is to kinda be a dick. The other 90% is they legit hurt my ears. I do the same the fire trucks, ambulances and cops. I get it in the case of emergency vehicles. They need to be that loud... and it makes sense that bikes make some noise to ensure drivers are aware of them. Still, it's all just too fucking loud for me. I need it muffled.

My dad rides one, but he said he just likes how it feels to drive in the open air, and never revs it up like that. He hates the culture too.

Bikers are the worst, but it's true about assholes with any kind of vehicle in general whether it's trucks or little hatchbacks with the modified exhaust pipe they bought that makes the thing sound like a louder go kart. People blasting their stereos are a similar problem.

This is true. People were using it more than ever in the late 00s but it was used in the homophobic context like 25% of the time at most - it was right on the cusp of permanently rebranding as a meaner word for dork or geek.

Yeah that shit is very annoying and obnoxious. I always respected my dad because he was a biker but he always had super quiet bikes that made virtually no noise, his coolest one was a Kawasaki Ninja.

I always wanted a chopper, but I'd never do that shit. Some people actually modify their bikes to be louder; I'd rather modify it to be significantly quieter.

Yeah in middle and high school it was almost exclusively used as another word for douchbag or c**t

I dont remember kids using that word growing up much but they definitely used gay as an insult and Id always be like, Wait, how exactly is that homosexual? and it cracked my one friend up because he knew how ridiculous he was being using the word that way.

e: now that I see the abbreviated version of the slur in the post above, I remember people did say that one relatively often

The term "gay" was used a lot when I was younger either as an insult or just to describe anything negative.

But the F word was only ever used as a homophobic slur where I'm from.
