The two Golden Corral near me are still temporarily closed, been over a year now since I was there and this topic only reminded me of how good their food was.

Buffets are life. We went to AC on vacation last week. First day for dinner I was like "It's a casino. You gotta start at the buffet." Did not regret it.

sadly they have been getting more and more expensive where I live. It started off at reasonable pricing with around 14/15 dollars, now its closer to 30 Canadian.

I stopped eating at buffets years ago, engorging yourself with 4000 calories in one meal is great when you are trying to pack on the pounds for heavy lifting, not so much when you get older and dont want your joints carrying around that extra weight. Covid killed off any tangential desire I would have possibly had left for buffets.
