Essentially yes but fundamentally no. When I was a little kid, AOL internet was around. But I didnt know shit about it. And my parents on purposely didnt teach me much about the internet in the 90s iirc. The most I saw was at school but it was all very structured.

Yes. We never had AOL and we didnt get Internet for relatively awhile. Even when we got internet it sucked and going outside was more fun

Born in 80 so yea, i remember that shit like it was yesterday, no cell phones, no flat screen tvs, computers back than costing more than ur rent and car and floppy disk.....kids actually played outside and rode bikes....hardly see that anymore.

Born in '76 - family didn't get an Internet connection till 1999. Before that, me and my brother would have to go to a local library to get on the 'Net.

I didn't know it existed until 6th grade. When I learned about it, it was just our elementary school computers connecting to computers at a local college via some text program. It confused me so much that I was like "fuck this 'internet' thing. I don't want anything to do with it. Too complicated. I'm just gonna forget I ever heard about its existence."

That turned out interestingly since >_>

not really, no.

my family had internet access in the mid-90s for certain; first started using it myself in as a kid in 96/97, my father would order me books off amazon in that timeframe, and i have memories of the dial up sound in the house well before actually using it myself. furthermore, i've found usenet posts by my father as far back as the early 80s, so there's a good chance the house had internet service in the early 90s before my memory became particularly clear.

I first got it in 98 when I was 9.. And then for about 4 years my family was on hard times and I didn't have internet until 2005 when I first experienced DSL, which was utterly mindblowing.

Technically yes. I was born in 92. We got a computer in 96 but didnt get actual usable internet until Windows Millennium dropped.

I dont know of a time before computers and gaming though, been rolling games since I was like 4 years old.
