Honestly can't believe people legit prefer this to last of us 2

Its one of those games, you have to take your time and immerse yourself into it.

I found myself oddly spending hours upon hours in it, while telling myself, it feels to rural.

yea, unfortunately, it hasn't caught my interest yet (I'm early into act. 2).

and it makes me feel bad, because you can tell a lot of love and care went into making it.

I'm not saying it's a bad game.

But I prefer everything about the last of us to this. Basic ass characters is the thing that's most irking me. Everybody's so one dimensional, there's no layers.

It's pretty though.

I thought it was fun but it just had way too many things for you to do so I got tired of it and kind of forced myself to finish it. The ending was great though

Most of the hate towards Last of Us 2 didn't actually have anything to do with the video game itself.

Ghost on the other hand just flat out looked boring AF. Then like a month later discussion around it fell off the face of the internet, and now the only topics made about it are how shockingly boring it was.

Glad I snoozed on this one and played Last of Us 2 with an unbiased opinion. GOTY contender for sure.

the worst thing about Ghost, IMO, is the stealth.

I like the combat, but the enemy AI during stealth is really bad, and the mechanics are basic.

I normally wouldn't care for an open-world, but it's a big part of the game.

Are you playing on hard? The combat is pretty entertaining there.

ghosts of tsushima looked like someone mashed together assassins creed with the arkham games and i dont think i could have possibly been turned off more by a combination than that

He kind of is until you reach Act 2. But other than his uncle, I don't think that any of the characters are that one dimensional

Can't believe people complained about too many flashbacks breaking up the pacing in last of us 2, there's like 6 of them in the first 2 hours or so of this game.

Damn, I haven't finished it yet but I cleared out the entire first map before moving to act 2. It has very basic mechanics but you gotta love the duels.

I don't think it's fair to compare a linear narrative to an open world game, but I also don't find open world games fun. I just think you need to compare it to another game in the same genre.

Fine. Assassin's creed and arkham city were both better. Knight too without the batmobile. And that didn't stop all the bitter people from comparing this to last of us for months, especially around award time.

it has more fluid, responsive, and hectic moment to moment gameplay, and its stealth mechanics surpass it in every way.

I've got to disagree as well, as far as the story goes, from what I've experienced.

Ghost of Sushi is an amazing game but you need to play on the harder difficulties to really get the full experience.
