Screw the no order, that's #1. Play it on the no monster mode the devs added and it's one of the most uncomfortable, saddest stories I've ever played. Hellblade is great stuff. It has a bonus of flaunting some serious voice acting chops, and sound tech for her voice. It's crazy stuff. Definitely go for Dear Esther. The story is lazy, but the atmosphere and soundtrack are phenomenal. The narrator has a great voice but the story is utter nonsense. Has a few beautiful lines though. Observation is weird. You control the AI of a ship and help a little human along. The story gets lame, but the concept works throughout. Plague Tale rules. I liked SOMA's story a fair bit better but Observation is worth playing. I saw Plague Take listed and while I do think people who like walking simulators here would like it plays more like a linear stealth action game.
