I would post there but both ps4 boards are dead

Early game - ashina castle gate

20 seconds to kill one soldier and three "rats" for 300 xp or so and very very easy

Mid game - senpou temple (first idol)

Killing roughly 13-15 or more monks which gives about 1400+ xp or so in about 3 to 5 minutes average depending on how much the monk aggro and around easy to medium difficulty

Also any other good farms around at this point yet? I'm following a 100% guide and I'll post if it helps to show how far I am

I always grinded and got myself to the next level before a boss because I knew I would die a few times.

Senpou was my preferred spot early game as well because they gave so much and are pretty easy to kill.

I did this grind towards the end before the demon of hate. Theres the red samurai dudes with guns.

don't spend much time farming until you reach the place with this enemy:

supposedly around mid game(been an age since i played so)

you'll know the correct spot since there's an idol right before you encounter one with its back to you. then you can run around and sneak kill them as well as jump down and get some more random kills before TPing back to the idol.

lategame farm is probably in a location "far away" and don't wanna spoil... but you'll know when you come across it.

I've played before and only got about halfway before giving up.

This time I'm doing amazing and I wanna, and am going to, keep my streak going.

Gyoubu was I think 3 tries(more trouble than I should have had honestly)
Blazing bull in 1 or 2 i think
Beat Lady butterfly on the first try.
Beat genichiro on the third try, legit at that.
Monkey's took a bit long but still a first try
Most mini bosses only took up to 3, except maybe long Spearman guy near beginning area which was 4 tries

Now after just beating the snake lady I'm at gunfort about to get some of that good farming in after getting the text of end game moves from tengu you know who (ishhin) and it's hard to decide between using ashina cross and immortal blade, but, pretty much sticking with the mortal blade so far. I might change back for (some) boss fights though.

Man, this game is so much better on ps5 and I'm so much better at it than I was and so hyped for all the new stuff in it, to try that after.

End game, ashina castle entrance stairway I think it's called.
If you're going for the trophy/achievement I would wait until your 4th playthrough due to the absurd amount of exp you need to max all skills.
