I didn't get it with gaming in mind since I already have a desktop gaming PC, but I'm just curious if this laptop is any good for gaming lol.

Best it can do is minesweeper in 720p

Real answer:
Go into device manager and see exactly what Radeon integrated chip it uses and type that into notebook check

Ryzen 3, 3000 series. not bad, not super great. its last gen ryzen (or 2 gens back i guess? since 4000 series existed for laptops), low-tier. but i mean, ryzen chips are overall very good so its not trash.

8gb of ram is fine imo.

i never tried out amd integrated graphics so i dont know how they preform

Cool, thanks. I have mostly old games in my Steam library anyway, so I don't mind if it doesn't play on high settings.

by the specs, not really. The Ryzen 3 3250U is a fairly low-end processor, built for efficiency. 8GB ram is pretty much the "bare minimum" for a modern computer (Chome will eat about half of that with multiple tabs open).

That being said, unlike PCs, there's a lot more than the specs that make a laptop good. QOL features, ports, connectivity, bluetooth version, touchscreen, panel type, quality of touchpad and keyboard, battery life, durability, etc.

It's probably a 400 dollar laptop, super costcut. I imagine you aren't running cad, video editing, any programming or compiling, etc. Basically an email/zoom machine?

The 3250U uses Vega 3. It's an APU.

Yup. Pretty much right on the money. It was a little over $400. I'm getting into real estate, loan origination, SBA loans, etc. under my friend and our mortgage broker. I don't need a high powered laptop for that.

I'm also an attorney, so I basically just need to be able to e-mail, run Microsoft Word, browse the web, etc. lol.

8gb of RAM in 2021, good God, my phone has more RAM

Then again, Microsoft still makes Surface products with 4GB

In that case:

Along the lines of what other people have said, not good. Will run games pre 2013 fine at low settings 720 probably, depending on the title.

Fair enough. Most of the games I own on Steam that I play are old anyway: Skyrim, Valkyria Chronicles, Dragon Age Inquisition, Civ V, etc.

I had a 2200g (basically a very similar chip to your 3250u, both run vega 3). Civ 5 and skyrim both ran, on medium, without a problem. Civ5 is much more demanding on a processor than a gpu fwiw.

It may struggle a bit with DA: Inquisition. Likely will need low graphics. But its great for work.
