Secondly, while the ratio of humanoid bosses is higher in this game, it wasn't noticeable to me at all until pointed out, and even then I have never felt like every boss was the same style, and everything was always fresh feeling. I would love to compare numbers and ratios of boss type per game, but Im too busy for that now. Irony posted... Shitty level designs. Aside from earthan peak to the volcano thing, the levels were not only gorgeous but interesting and some of the best in the series. All three DLC areas individually were better than anything in DS1. I will say that in general the rebalancing was well done. It is killing me that I know there was an area that felt superior in the original, but I can't recall what it was right now. --- The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact. Scholar of the First Sin is absolute trash, though. At least the original version has some cohesion in enemy layout that feels "Soulsy" to me. In Scholar of the First Sin they just plop in random shit all over the place for the sake of it. Areas are filled up with enemies from other areas for no reason, which robs each area of its sense of self to just create a giant mishmash. Why is there an undead Chariot in Drangleic Castle? If you have a lore reason, you are lying.
