Google bought a bunch of good development studios in 2020
They shut them all down on Feb 1st, just one week after telling them they had "big plans for this year."

Nintendo literally made a game where the game itself is literally about haggling over how much real money you're willing to spend to play a game.

To be fair to EA here Visceral was closed down because their Star Wars game wasn't getting anywhere and it's expensive to run a studio in San Francisco. Respawn kinda did their role a lot better.

You forgot about the part where they tell them to make a Battlefield game, a series they had nothing to do with up until that point.
