Kircheis 02/21/21 7:08:30 PM #18:	Bit of a niche recommendation, but try Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. It's a bit more weeb than anything on this list, but the gameplay is really fun, legitimately one of my favorite battle systems in a turn-based JRPG. I also find it really satisfying how character progression is directly tied into how much effort you put into alchemy, and since the items you can actually acquire and synthesize are limited by your story progression, it's impossible to powerlevel (so you don't trivialize the game too much), and you won't be underpowered either as long as you synthesize everything you can whenever you can. FFT > FF6 > TO > FF9 > KH2 > KH > FF8.

I don't care for Pokemon. FF8 sucks. You should play KH before KH2.
