Yes, I've seen all of the movies multiple times. I love the series. I love good guy Godzilla.

But, like, he was created as a metaphor for nuclear warfare. When he undergoes his conversion and starts battling evil space monsters, it's kinda like saying "Think of all the good things we can do with atomic weaponry!"

I'm glad they decided to ignore logic, and their initial message, in favor of giving us battles with mechanical dinosaurs and three-headed space dragons. It's just... I kinda have to admit it makes no sense hen you consider what Godzilla's significance actually is.

Have you

Okay, you got me. The last three films of the Millennium series, I only saw one time each. And I've yet to see Shin Godzilla because I don't have a Blu-Ray player and I detest paying for digital.

The Heisei, Showa, and American made films I've seen multiple times each.

That's what radiation did back in the 1950s. It made ants big. It made people big. It made lizards big.

I'm a life long Godzilla fan from as young as I can remember. I'm cool with Good Guy Godzilla, but I always remember, he wasn't really that good. He was mostly just protecting his home. He quite often still had and took issue with humans, even when he was "on their side."

He's more fun and profitable when he's a territorial dragon. Kids will buy his toys then.

In Ghidorah, The Three-Headed Monster, Mothra talks Godzilla into fighting on the behalf of humans. He's reluctant at first but then he's won over by Mothra's selflessness in her fight against Ghidorah. By the time we get to Godzilla Versus Mechagodzilla, it's considered out of character for him to be seen attacking buildings.
