As a ritualistic reloader, I cannot handle the fact that you throw away the rest of the clip with Tediore weapons

Jakobs are definitely my favorite. Not sure where I put much else. Even if it weren't for the reloading problemz tediore always comes off as weak to me.

The one that becomes the walking brain turret is kinda-sorta useful, but that's the only one I can think of that I'd actually use.

Maliwan is really good for armored / shielded stuff. I always keep one of their plasma guns on hand.

I've heard Hyperion becomes necessary at high level endgame stuff in BL3 because the shield is basically required.

BL1 Atlas > Jakobs > Dahl > S&S > Maliwan > Torgue > Tediore > Bandit/CoV > BL3 Atlas

Tediores can be extremely powerful with the homing mirv stuff, but the reload gimmick is annoying af

Double penatrating unkempt Harold and ber shield. Unstoppable.

Baby Maker and bee shield. Unstoppable.

Original Conference Call and ber shield. Unstoppable.

Hyperion is best followed by tongue and then tediore.

Jakobs, Torgue, and Hyperion are the top tier above the others. Not sure which is the best though. I'll just say Torgue because ha ha funny explosions man

It depends on which game and which play through youre in.

I still havent played the third game, but take Jacobs in BL2 for instance. Top tier weapons manufacturer in Easy and Normal play through but they dont scratch the enemies in UVHM.

It really comes down to my favorite guns:

BL1:
Atlas Matador Shotgun
Maliwan Volcano
Maliwan Hellfire

BL2:
Torgue DP Unkempt Harold
Dahl Flying Sandhawk
Bandit Slagga

Pre-sequel:
Vladoff Machine
Maliwan/Hyperion laser weapons

The one I dont use is Tediore.

Atlas weapons in BL1 were awesome, but they were extremely rare.

Jakobs really boils down to what kind of enemy you're facing, because their general lack of weapons with elemental effects makes shielded / armored enemies kind of annoying. Unarmored humanoids/animals are usually one-hit-kills, though.

Maliwan is the opposite - great for breaking shields/barriers/armor but not great on enemies themselves. Having a 1-2 mix of Maliwan / Jakobs is a great way to finish off complex enemies.

Torgue boom explosion lol

Side note - I do genuinely like COV's "no reloading" gimmick

Dahl deserves some credit for having, arguably, the best "all purpose" weapons in the game.

If you're "doing it right", the lack of elements on Jakobs is meaningless.

Besides, it's not like they don't have any elementals.

You've got:

The Companion is always incendiary
The Hellwalker is always incendiary and one of the best shotguns in the game
Rowans Call can be incendiary, radiation, or shock
Kings/Queens Call have all five elements covered between them

There's also all the uniques, like Pa's Rifle, Traitors Death etc etc etc

And of course, the best gun in the game for Moze at least, the Lucky 7 which can be incendiary, corrosive or shock

Adds depth to your strategy. I like using SMG tediore because you can really see the damage difference if you throw an almost full clip.
