According to the PS4, less than 9% of players have beaten the game with an S Rank. That includes Normal Diffculty and that's not S+. In fact less than 8% have beaten Hardcore mode at all on any rank

I don't count PC Data since people can just cheat so the Data is unreliable.

So let's guesstimate that what? Between 4-6% of RE2make players have beaten Hardcore with S+?

I didn't even know Claire got a different Reward so I'm going to try it now.

I got all the achievements and thought I unlocked everything so I didn't see the point lol

I have the Platinum Trophy and 1070/1070 GamerScore in it. Such a fantastic and replayable game.

Not everyone finds speed running enjoyable, not everyone cares about the hardest difficulty.

I love the series for its puzzles and lore.

RE2make having good replayvalue doesn't mean you have to replay it. Some people want to just keep trying out new things and there's nothing wrong with that.

You seem to not understand that some people just do not like speed running, I am one of them.

Also have no reason or want to play on the hardest difficulty, that is not fun to me.

I will say that I like that difficulty setting actually mattered.

The difference between Easy and Hardcore is jarring. In a lot of games I legit can't tell the difference.

Yup. Then again I have been playing resident evil on and off since the day it came out and an avid speed runner.

Note that cheating aside the PC version is objectively easier than the console versions. The aiming was made intentionally slow on the console ports which is one of the reasons the PC version is the version of choice for most speed runners.

Hate to be that guy, but people speedrun on PC because the game loads faster, and are able to abuse the fuckery of the knife's damage being tied to your refresh rate/FPS instead of a static number.

Yes for both characters, both routes.

It wasn't so bad. You just gotta know where the important items are and know that you don't have to shoot every zombie and/or monster you come across.

I did a 0 save in 2hr or less on Leon A normal at least once on the 64 version.

I got the unlimited rocket launcher.

its almost a shame that parts of RE2make force you to rush through them, the art design and lighting is incredible

Agreed. Luckily, I don't care about all the extras anyway. As long as the core experience justifies the money, I'm happy. I'm happy people who enjoy the challenge get rewarded for ot as well. Would suck to get nothing out of it just because people who feel entitled to everything from the jump. I just ask you don't put difficulty options behind challenges.

Not likely that I ever will. I'd be satisfied with A on Hardcore, S on Standard.

In RE2make you unlocked OP weapons by beating the game with high ranks.

Infinite Rocket Launcher that breaks the game is unlocked by beating the game on Hardcore with S+. You have to earn it.

In RE3 instead you get "points" for completing records. You use points to unlock the OP weapons.

So you get tons of points for "killing x amount of enemies with x weapon" which you can do on easy. It's just a timesink.

So instead of skill you unlock things by wasting time.
