I appreciate it so much more now than when it aired way back when. It's even funnier today. It's crazy how good those guys are at improv comedy. Coming up with funny things on the spot in different scenarios and in front of TV/audience must be so difficult.

It's a 10/10 show, truly. Every single experience I've had with the show has been more than enjoyable.

I've actually been to the theater that Ryan Stiles owns in Bellingham WA, it was a great time. He wasn't there that night though, just an improv group that plays there all the time. Still excellent tho

Yeah. I used to dislike Aisha but I think I've grown to like it. Not her necessarily, just that it's a different time now so maybe it's worth having a progressive woman 'monitoring' everything? Sounds lame but kinda like when you hang with a group of girls, it's a different vibe and you can't say all the shit you wanna say but maybe it's for the better? I still prefer Drew though.

Some of those guys are actually improv talents. I don't understand how hard it is to understand that improv is an actual skill. I WISH I had that much great improv ability because then my campaign would be top tier.

I honestly think that there is some truth behind what Bad_Mojo is saying.

First, I still think it takes incredible talent to do what they do, and I don't think all of it is scripted. I can't speak to the parts about people being planted in the audience and whatnot.

What I will say is I used to own Best of Whose Line DVDs which had outtakes as extra features, and there were very clearly turns that they would take that didn't make air, where they were saying the same thing as what they said on the aired version of the show.

So, I don't know if that means they improved the first time but laughed through it so they wanted to re-do the take, and the non-improved take made it to air, or how that ended up.

I do choose to believe that a fair bit of it is improved, but I don't think that literally what we are seeing in each episode is always just the first thought that came into their heads at that moment, if that makes sense.

It's still a great show, one of my favorite from growing up, really funny, and they all have a lot of talent.

I know they edit it for television, but it's definitely not all faked. Ryan's Carol Channing mishap was definitely real.

Whose Line tapings do a pickup section at the end where they redo some parts of skits that went a little too off the rails, or if someone said something that can't go on air, or if the ending/beginning of a game would look awkward on TV. That's probably what you saw.

They film several episodes at a time (you can tell how some of the same audience members are in the same seats in different episodes) and sometimes they have great games that make it on TV and some dull one that never got aired.

Anyways great show and thank god for CW Seed for having every episode free for streaming.

I'm saying that in the extras/bloopers you'll see the same "answers" or "improvs" as you saw on the actual episode that aired, but maybe someone accidentally cursed or laughed and so they had to do retakes.

Garioshi says they did this at the end of some of the filmings, I don't really know.
