What are your temps? If the case is just hot, that just means it's effectively transferring the heat away from the gpu/cpu.

Depending on the case and fan configuration, it just may how it feels. As long as your actual component temps are within spec, you have zero reason to worry.

when I think of insanely hot I think of the surface of the sun which is 5,778 K (which is 5504.85 C / 9940.73 F).

MSI Afterburner comes with a relatively simple and lightweight overlay that shows CPU and GPU temps. My 3600x (4.1GHz OC 1.24v undervolt) and RTX 2060 got up to 56c and 77c respectively under load with CP2077.

70c is fine for a GPU

they can usually hit 90c before autoshutoff

Yeah, 70 is perfectly fine, hell, if I have the heat going in the house, I can get over 80 easy.
