Social media platforms are privately owned and can ban and censor whoever they want.

With that said a privately owned bakery can also refuse to make a cake for whoever they want as well. (And no I didn't agree with the bakery's decision or reason, no I'm not a conservative).

Consistency is a two-way street but all too often hypocrisy is incredibly abundant all across the board.

The difference being that bakeries who refuse to serve gay couples and people bitching about losing their accounts after inciting an insurrection of democracy are both gigantic piles of shit who deserve to have their opinions stifled.
