Merrick Garland is the obvious answer but the absolutely incessant attacks on Obama for benign shit like wearing a tan suit, asking for Dijon mustard, saluting with a coffee cup, etc while not being phased and openly encouraging Trump's fuckery is also incredibly frustrating.

Republicans refused to confirm a supreme Court judge picked by Obama in 2016, saying it was unfair to the American public to make a supreme Court appointment in an election year (a rule they made up that has no precedent).

In 2020 they confirmed a Trump picked supreme Court judge like a month before the election.

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died in February 2019, 9 months before an election. The republican senate refused to confirm Obama's replacement, saying "it's almost election time, let's let the people decide who gets to replace him."

Justice Ginsburg died September 2020. Less than 2 months before the election, and Republicans rammed through Trump's replacement is record time.

I mean.....the crack epidemic/mass incarceration of black and brown people. At least historically.

Recently? The Supreme Court noms, helping terrorist interrupt a government proceeding, always shifting the blame to black people who protested being murdered.

Yeah I can't think of anything more blatant than that. Hilarious when people pulled up the old Lindsey Graham video saying he would hold a republican president to the same standard in an election year. Then they approve Barret like 7 weeks away from election.

Republicans held the senate in both cases so they could do whatever the **** they wanted. And even if they are called out on it who cares? As long as they have an R next to their name, their state will keep voting them in.

its worse than that

RBG's dying wish was to not replace her until the next administration, they ignored it

And the same time they zerg rushed a pick, they also closed the Senate and refused to pass a stimulus deal due to "lack of time "

It's so evil

They didn't vote nay. They just refused to vote at all and left the seat vacant for almost a fucking year. And this is routine. They refuse to actually do their goddamn job just so the opposing party can't win. They're greedy, power-hungry fucks.

Everything mentioned already itt (really, the whole thing with RBG's replacement was complete and utter bullshit) but in general, the way they love to act like its Democrats who divide everyone and yet THEY'RE the ones who refuse to compromise, ever and frequently make everything a bipartisan issue.
"We could all get along if the evil God-killing Democrats stopped trying to murder everyone that disagrees with their communist fascism. This is a time for peace and healing while we respectfully decline the complete destruction of America by liberals stealing the election. Stand back and stand by."

You know, I actually don't like the cake shop comparison because that was a discrimination issue with one person being denied service for...who they are? Whereas Trump being banned from twitter is more like a drunk patron being kicked out of a bar for being abusive to the other patrons. You know, because of something he actually DID.

Sure, I agree. But the hypocrisy lies in them using the same argument to support both the cake shop & Trump: it's a free country & citing the 1A.
