Nobody is saying it's a red flag. I feel like people just keep moving the goalposts here, when the main thing, as several people said, is that we're dunking on him for thinking that his last message was actually doing something, and actually being proud enough of it to share it with other people.

He is allowed to be upset by her responses, sure, but newsflash: dating sucks. It's hard. Talking to people in general can be hard sometimes. However, a lot of people are acting pretty damn entitled here. Dude asked some mundane questions and got mundane answers, then felt like he was owed something for taking on the terrible burden of "carrying the conversation" that he has the option of easily opting out of at any time. I wish I had the luxury of being able to turn off and have everyone involved forget about the conversation several times in my life. You gotta just move on when shit like this isn't working out.

I think when you're getting into the messaging apps, you just gotta keep it really short and sweet. You can keep it short and still gauge actual interest pretty fast. You're either going to be vibing pretty quickly or you won't. It is a total fucking crapshoot.

This is a small snippet from a dead conversation. if theres one thing thats super annoying is when people make gigantic leaps based on very little information.

I never claimed I tried very hard in this conversation. And why would I here? Every single question I asked I was left with an answer so basic and dry there was nothing to follow up on. She also didnt ask a single question to me. Not one.

Particularly since men get fewer matches. Like yes, women get dozens more matches - well they can always stop swiping if they have plenty of men to talk to at the moment.
