Similar genres like emo/screamo/metalcore are also cool because I hate playing the "that's not real <genre>" game. Album or song recs greatly appreciated over just band names

Recently listening to Fall of Troy and Fear Before the March of Flames.

Snapcase and At The Drive In are two of my favorites, it falls in line with what you like. Relationship of Command is one of my favorite albums ever. I can listen to it front to back daily. Progression Through Unlearning is top tier also.

A Lot Like Birds
Royal Coda

These two are Kurt Travis projects, sound almost like DGD b-sides.

I really like Ghost Atlas, the side project for Jesse Cash from Erra.

For something a bit more meltalcore and out there, Shrezzers is a fusion between metalcore, death core and Jazz.

I might post some links later if I remind myself.

I got really into their side projects, so I've listened to everything besides Ghost Atlas, but ill check them out.
