Perhaps. But sony drones lined up in droves to spend the money anyway, so it's kinda everyone's fault. I haven't paid for console online since like 2011. Fuck that. PS used to be free I shouldn't fucking have to pay just to try uncharted online

Yeah, free online was a huge factor in me choosing Sony during the PS3 era. But M$ was deadset on a sub system and Sony was basically like "might as well, free money!" and now gaming is ruined :(
