Came in this morning but that PS4 transfer took all day....its terrible that you can't use an external for PS5 games though...I hope they deal with that eventually.

I ended up buying Assassin's Creed Valhalla because I wanted to buy a PS5 game to start off this console and after playing Odyssey, I don't feel worried about my decision to play it.

My PS4 transfer took like 15-20min max. Why did yours take so long?

I honestly have no clue. Maybe because the PS4 was in the other room? It said that a wired connection would make it go faster.

And I think when the PS5 booted up, it still had to finish downloading the games(or..well just ESO for some reason)

My PS5 was hardwired but my PS4 was on wifi. I have gigabit network speeds so that helped, but still all day seems insane.

"While you can't replace the internal SSD of the PS5, since its integration is so vital to the operation of the console, the console comes equipped with the ability to add an extra NVMe SSD storage easily to supplement the blazing-fast read speeds."
