I've played a lot of Hades, and when you first play it you think the spear is godly, and then you play more and learn the other weapons and you think the spear is garbage. It's always a honeymoon phase.

I agree with the spear take. I beat it the first time with spear but I find it really mediocre now. I enjoy the shield and fists much more now.

Spear is good until around 14 or so heat in my experience. Very good for onhit builds, but not great at swarm rooms.

Haven't played Hades in a while but bow is absolutely disgusting with damage. Oh and Knuckles giving me 50%+ Dodge rate with Hermes feather.
